Low Power (33000-54740) This low power view of myocardium shows early coagulative necrosis of myocytes and infiltration by neutrophils.
Necrotic Myocytes (33000-54740) Note the absence of nuclei and cross striations in the necrotic myocytes. There is a prominent neutrophilic inflammatory response in early myocardial infarction.
