3-5 Myocardial Scar Note the extensive irregular dense white tissue replacing the myocardium. This infarct is at least 6 weeks old.
3-6 Old Myocardial Infarction Fibrous scarring often affects the endocardium overlying an area of healed infarction. A mural thrombus has formed in this area.
