inclusions consisting of myelin figures (membranous whorls or
myeloid bodies).

myelin figures (membranous whorls or myeloid bodies) are seen in
cases of inclusion body myopathy. In this case, the myofibrils
have been disrupted by the presence of multiple myelin figures of
varying size and shape.
