| Pathogenesis for Medical II Students English - Spanish This edition of the Pathogenesis webpage contains for the first time a translation in Spanish of the Pathology laboratory material. The purpose is for the English-speaking students to have the opportunity to learn Spanish language terminology. This would be more appropriate for students who have taken some Spanish courses. Spanish-speaking students will also have the opportunity to increase their knowledge of English and will be better prepared to read Scientific journals, which are primarily written in English. The translation is literal rather than grammatically correct, so the reader will see the exact translation of each word as in a dictionary. A team of medical students and faculty prepared this work. In the coming months, we will try to translate other courses and revise and improve the methodology after the students have had the opportunity to evaluate this work. In this era of globalization, language can be a barrier to Health Care.(1) (1). The New England Journal of Medicine. Language barrier to Health Care. G. Flores. 355:3-229-231, 2006.
