Chao Li, graduate student in VCU's Oncogenomics and Proteomics Research Program under the leadership of Youngman Oh, PhD, has been selected to participate in the inaugural Trainee Poster Competition at the upcoming 90th Annual Meeting of the Endocrine Society (ENDO 08). This meeting brings together the worlds's largest gathering of endocrinologists from around the world to hear about the latest advancements in the field of endocrinology.
Mr. Li's abstract has been selected because it was among the best scoring in its category, which for a graduate student is an exciting honor. Mr. Li's research will reach thousands of clinicians, researchers, clinical investigators, post docs, and other professionals at ENDO 08 in San Francisco June 15-18, 2008. The Endocrine Society, dedicated to the research and treatment of endocrine disorders, is an international organization representing 85 countries with over 13,000 members.
The abstract chosen for this poster competition during ENDO 08 is entitled, "Molecular Mechanisms of IGFBP-3 Regulation on GRP78-Induced Anti-Estrogen Resistance in Breast Cancer."
