GRAND ROUNDS PRESENTATION

"Nonalcoholic Fatty Liver Disease: The New Epidemic"

Linda Ferrell, MD, Professor & Vice Chair of Pathology, Director of Surgical Pathology, University of California, San Francisco, CA, presented this week's grand rounds lecture for faculty, residents and staff.

Dr. Ferrell's topic, "Nonalcoholic Fatty Liver Disease: The New Epidemic," is highlighted in the following educational objectives:

  • Differentiate fatty liver from steatohepatitis based in histologic criteria.
  • Differentiate steatohepatitis from other disease entities in the liver that mimic steatohepatitis.
