Manjunatha R. Kini, PhD, Professor in the Department of Biological Sciences at the National University of Singapore, presented this week's grand rounds lecture for faculty, residents and staff.

Dr. Kini's topic, "Novel anticoagulants from snake venoms: Structure, function and mechanism," is highlighted in the following educational objectives:

  • Research methods to understand the mechanism of action of new anticoagulants.
  • Research strategies to develop new anticoagulant therapies.
