More Than Just Pretty Pictures"

Scott C. Henderson, PhD, Associate Professor and Director Microscopy Facility, VCU Department of Anatomy & Neurobiology, recently presented the Pathology grand rounds lecture for faculty, residents and staff.

Dr. Henderson's topic, "New Microscopy Resources to Support Biomedical Research: More Than Just Pretty Pictures," is highlighted in the following educational objectives:

  • To provide an overview of microscopy-based research resources at the VCU School of Medicine.
  • To survey new optical techniques for improved molecular locailzation and 3-D imaging.
  • To introduce the possiblities of quantitative imaging.
