"Recognizing Melanoma Variants and Their Differential Diagnoses: Stepping Through a Mine Field"

Phillip McKee, MB, MD, FRC, Associate Professor of Pathology, Harvard Medical School, Director of Dermatopathology, Brigham & Women's Hospital, Boston (Retired), presented this week's grand rounds lecture for faculty, residents and staff.

Dr. McKee's topic, "Recognizing Melanoma Variants and Their Differential Diagnoses: Stepping Through a Mine Field," is highlighted in the following educational objectives:

  • To demonstrate and better recognize the histological variants of melanoma
  • To identify and appreciate the atypical melanocytic stimulants of melanoma
  • To outline and recognize the importance of clinical pathological correlation
