GRAND ROUNDS PRESENTATION

"Fucosylated Biomarkers of Liver disease"

Dr. Anand Mehta, Associate Professor, Drexel University College of Medicine, and a faculty candidate for VCU School of Medicine's GI Oncology Research Initiative, presented this week's grand rounds lecture for faculty, residents and staff.

Dr. Mehta's topic, "Fucosylated Biomarkers of Liver disease" is highlighted in the following educational objectives:

  • Understand how new proteomic methods are being used to discover non-invasive biomarkers of liver disease.
  • Understand how new markers and new methods are being used in the diagnosis of liver disease.
