GRAND ROUNDS PRESENTATION

"Multi-modality Molecular Imaging and Nano-Biotechnology:
Molecular Pathology in Cancer Biology and Therapeutics"

Jamal Zweit, PhD, Professor and Director of Molecular Imaging Center VCUHS Dept of Radiology, presented this week's grand rounds lecture for faculty, residents and staff.

Dr. Zweit's topic, "Multi-modality Molecular Imaging and Nano-Biotechnology: Molecular Pathology in Cancer Biology and Therapeutics" is highlighted in the following educational objectives:

  • Explain how molecular imaging is contributing to molecular medicine.
  • Understand how multi-modality molecular imaging is used to diagnose and manage cancer patients.
  • Understand how molecular imaging is combined with molecular biology and pathology to study disease and therapeutic interventions within a physiologically intact environment.
