GRAND ROUNDS PRESENTATION

"Androgen Receptor Splice Variants Promote Prostate Cancer Progression"

Steven Plymate, MD, Professor, Division of Gerontology and Geriatric Medicine, University of Washington School of Medicine, presented this week's grand rounds lecture for faculty, residents and staff.

Dr. Plymate's topic, "Androgen Receptor Splice Variants Promote Prostate Cancer Progression" is highlighted in the following educational objectives:

  • Explain role of ligland binding domain splice variants of the androgen receptor in generation of castrate resistant prostate cancer.
  • Explain loss of non-genomic signaling pathway for the androgen receptor.
