During the 7th Annual Faculty Excellence Awards Program sponsored by the School of Medicine, Virginia Commonwealth University on October 12, 2005, eight Pathology faculty members were recognized for their excellence in teaching.
Outstanding Teacher Award in Undergraduate Medical Education
Best Teacher in the Course Awards were presented to the following faculty:
- Jonathan Ben-Ezra, MD, for the M-II Hematology/Oncology Course
- Colleen K. Jackson-Cook, PhD, for the M-I Human Genetics Course
- Enrique Gerszten, MD, for the M-II Pathogenesis Course (Lab Teaching)
- Nitya R. Ghatak, MD, for the M-II Pathogenesis Course (Lab Teaching)
