Paleopathology Case 17 Skin biopsy from a woman approximately 40-years-old from 350 AD. The section was taken from her forearm. It represents one of numerous 1-2 mm papular, rough-surfaced, elevated lesions. For orientation, the epidermis is missing, but the papillary and reticular dermis may be distinguished.
